People:myself and nige

Duration: 8pm - 320am

Tide:indeed there was.. low to high and out a bit

Weather:oh god yes.... wind, rain, to extremes at times, force 5-8

Bait:mackerel and sandeel

Rigs:my usual one up one down and what ever nige was usig

Results:3 flounder, 1 coalfish and a strap conger (nige blanked  )

Catch and Release:: (ooo new bit) mostly yes with the odd no, kept 2 flounder for the grill (tomorrows dinner)

Report: rain, rain and more rain..

caught the coalie on the first cast and hoped that this was going to be a very good nights fish, and then nothing for ages except the odd bite.. then just at high tide caught the first of the flatties (39cm), cast after that produced 2nd flattie (35cm), 2 casts after that i caught my 3rd flattie (25cm) which i released back and 2 casts after that i caught a strap conger (only i could catch a conger on a beach) that swam away happily too...

i think this is the first time in ages that nige has blanked..

now i have to get a bottle of white wine to go with(in) the dinner tomorrow Yummie.... :) :) :)
