Unfortunatly I didnt get to fish as the waves were too good so I spent the 3 days on my board.
However I did see what looks like a cracking spot. To the very left of the beach at Lahinch are rocks just under the cliff. When the tide is out they stretch out for quite a bit. If anyone is down there again please try it with a popper as the tide floods over these rocks. I'd be willing to bet it would work brilliant for bass.
If I am down there again I will definitly give it a go.

Hi
The rocky margin from beach to the scree under the cliffs, at the top of the promenade is wadeable with care - most of the rocks there are in fairly flat shelves, long ago eroded to remove sharp spurs and the like.
Once you move beyond that, the ground becomes a potential leg breaker and it is heavily weeded so I would take very great care wading there. There are lots of small heavily disguised fssures and holes not to mention loose rocks. Great for crabbing but not much else.
My preference has always been to wade along the line of the first set of rocks and cast to either side. I've taken pollack and wrasse in there too!
Low light levels a must... and now is the ideal time of the year.

Sounds dangerous alright but also like bass heaven..!
There is a spot just like it in Ballinskellig - leg break heaven.
I will try it before the year is out and let you know how many bass i get..!
