Report: Ah well as I had sea-trout on both my last visits, a third time was asking a bit much. Its ages since I caught any flats off this beach and as I was informed that there appears to be little or none in the Moy estuary either. It used to be full of dabs, flounder and the odd plaice. I wonder what has happened. This is a touchy subject but it appears the Moy now has a large resident seal population which was not there to any extent in years gone by. Does anyone else have an explanation. The bay is no longer been trawled and this looks like the last year of salmon (and everything else that goes into the nets) netting, so lets hope things improve.
