Duration:10.00pm till 02.15am

Tide:high water at 12.30 ish

Weather:nice, slight breeze and stayed dry.

Bait:Lug, squid mack and herring.

Rigs:flappers and patternosters

Results:7 dogs and 1 herring


Report:Things were steady all the way, the original plan was to fish carnlough beach but the place was teaming with kids , the sort of kids where you gotta keep an eye on your stuff so we decided to go to glenarm instead.Michael reeled in a lobster but lost it at the last moment, got one of its legs though...

sounds like a good nite grabster. fished the breakwater on friday nite myself. using a two hook flapper rig. rod went nuts and struggled reeling in fo find a doggie on the top hook and a bloody big lobster bout 4lb on the bottom hook. landed it ok and thought about taking it home but ended up taking pity on it so just took afew pictures and went down the slipway and put it back. also got a few more doggies and a coalie. forgot two post a report lol

Must be something about the lobsters at this time of year lads - I landed one further up the coast during the week.

4lb is a really big one BTW.
