Rigs: Pulley, wishbone, pennel, 2 hook clipped and conger rigs

Results: 3 pollack, 1 LSD, 1 mackeral, 1 plaice, 1 flounder, 1 codling, 1 large crab (6" across back  ) and 1 lobster!!!

Report:

A great night last night!!!!

The species count was high as you can see from the above with spgavin and me tying with 4 species each for the friendly wager!!! Unfortunately wee Conor only got a Blankety Blank Cheque Book and Pen

We started off at The Ledge and fished here for a few hours.

We managed to land the LSD, Pollack, mackeral (first one I have seen caught here BTW!!) at the Ledge and at the very end I managed to lift a nice wee lobster at around 1.5lb. He took mack on a pulley rig. I believe he is being eaten round about now by my sister who took it off my hands (under duress I must add...) last night

We packed up and then moved round to the pier to try for some Conger. spgavin was very unlucky to lose a very sizeable conger - both him and I fought with it for about 10 mins, it was pulling like a bloody tractor but we couldn't dislodge the bugger and it then spat the bait after 10 mins    - we'll be back for you boyo!!!!

We also chucked some bait out towards the moored yachts and landed the flatties and codling.

All in all a great night but I am still conger-less :( :(
