Can anyone give me any info on "The Safe" in Rosslare. Never fished it before, what gear is required, what will I catch, what bait is best, what tide.

You should get plenty of Dogfish and a few wrasse at the safe this time of year . Dont forget to pack the heavy rod , reel and wire traces as the venue holds some nice conger eels .

If you are going to the Wexford area, remember to take a look at the Kilmore Sea Angling site before you go. ... rsonal.htm

I'll be down in Wexford this weekend, but the mention of Bream near Ballyhealy is what is interesting..
"some unusual species were supposedly taken in Bastardstown. Everything is still very hush hush, but we think there are some bream stirring. "

Bream I guess are possible near the safe, or around the corner near "The Carrigs" at the edge of Bing Bay, if you are staying around Rosslare-I digress.
