2nd was don (ducky ) jonston from carrickfergus with three fish and third was me can ya believe it also with three fish although duckies weight was heavier i dropped a fish half way up the wall typical the one that got away. heaviest fish pool was greenislands brian taylor flounder 220grams
a total of thirty fish were caught weighed and released immediatley
hence no size limits , no dead fish at all well done to everybody who helped out at the event and to the anglers who travelled from dublin and across the North, towards the end of the comp there was the most horrendous thunder shower and the river in the middle of the prom turned into a raging torrent with trees shopin trolleys and who knows what ending up on the beach it really was a bad shower, which turned into a wet tee shirt affair    thanks everybody for the support 8)

will do mate , although all the fish were small it was a great fun day out for all members of the community and again well done to stephen brennan he is a very accomplished angler and we wish him well in his efforts to gain top position in the penn sea league, it was also nice to see the lads from up north shaun & robin fleming and paul graham, we also had good support from the local clubs,
it was a pity about the thunderstorm and downpour but it made my day when i saw the most beautiful lady in a wet teeshirt obviously pleased to see me if you know what i mean anyway thats life i guess just like me dropping my fourth flattie just as i lifted it out of the water, thats the way it is folks
