People:Me, Greg(brother) and John(dad)
Duration:12:00pm until 06:00pm
Tide:High at 4:38pm
Weather:Blue sky, light breeze, blazing sun, a little wavy.
Bait:Frozen sand-eel, fresh rag, Dexter wedge (spinner)
Rigs:Sliding float. Size 1/0 and 2/0 hooks. Various depths.
Results:A couple of pollack (all under 1lb), one mackerel (1lb)
Report:When I arrived I was pi**ed off to see someone at 'MY' spot :D . It's amazing how I think I own a piece of land just because I've fished there a couple of times. The people who were there left soon after I arrived. Down to fishing. It wasn't as hectic as usual but still a few fish to keep me busy. The pollack always make me think the fish I have on is bigger. As for the mackerel, what can I say. A 1lb mackerel on a spinner using light gear. I thought I had a 5lb bass on the line. Enjoyable day even if looked like the back of my neck was pressed down on an oven hob.
