Got six mackerel and three coalies on the trace also had a baited rod out with no results.
This was one of those days I wished I had stayed at home. The anual sailing regatta was on (what a pack of assh#*#s)I think they were taking bets on who could collect the most tackle.Dont get me wrong there was a few and when i say a few i mean very few that would avoid your fishing area, ask where the lines where or wait until you reeled in but not the all wallet and no brains clan that think commoners like us shouldnt be fishing in THEIR water.I was very happy to meet Gaz off the forum down there but things got so bad he had to pack up and go home.By the end of the day im sure i lost £20+ of rigs traces etc and i hope they have done as much damage as possible to the inconciderate boating public that visited Portaferry to day.
I just want to say this is not a dig at boating people(i just wish i could afford one)just my annoyance at the ones that think they should be the only ones on the water. Why the need to weave through moored boats at speed to cut right accross the front of the pier is beyond me. :?:
END OF WINGE THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR TIME
