Fished a North Wexford reef on Wednesday night over high water into darkness, a spring tide after very settled conditions with a full moon, surely I couldn't fail - well my plan certainly didn't come together as I expected. Fished with a variety of lures, spinners, poppers, shallow & deep divers all for two very small schoolies under half a pound, one of which took and came off literally under the rod tip!
Also met Teacher (Jonathon) from the forum on my travels, he had similar luck to me with no decent fish taking, and he moved to a different venue and had similar results.
I'm fishing the tide again on Saturday evening and then to Cortaz's fish farm in Cunnigar on Sunday, see ye there!
