Report:
Fished a mark near Camden Fort for an hour or two with Phanover on a pleasant enough evening with the spinning and plugging gear. Started off with a flying C which took a small pollack of just over a pound on the second cast. Changed over to a variety of plugs in hope for a bass. Driven demented by what was either a bass or a nice sea trout around the 4/5lb mark which hopped up in front of me about 20 yards away 3 times...... I tried everything in the box, j13s, allie magnets, deep divers, shallow divers, tobies, flying cs....to no avail I'm afraid. That fish was having a laugh  Only other thing of any note was that I managed to hook a tiny blenny, around 1.5 to 2 inches long, through its tail on a Rapala J13  Another sneaky one for the species list I reckon! :D
Nice evening all the same and a bit of a break from the footie for an evening, will definitely give it another lash sometime.
