Report: Ah well it proved difficult or nay impossible to get crab as the hens are peeling at present making the tyre traps redundant. I started off at the Monatrea side of ferry point with the hope of getting some flounder and moved after 1.5 hr to the right hand side of the tip of ferrypoint. This place usually never fails for me but I used the last of my crab to no avail. Mind you the power boats, jet skies and god knows what else didn't help. It never amazes me at how stupid some of these people are they ignore areas they aren't supposed to go into and make everyone else's enjoyment of the area including other boat owners a pain. Anyway rant over. I moved to the Quays with nothing to show. Some decent flounders were caught up river with 2 fish close to 1kg. I can only blame the bright sunshine, lack of more crab, wrong choice of venue, all those idiots on the river and that's about it, oh ya my lack of ability.
