People:just myself.....no-one else likes me :( :D ahh peace at last !
Duration:9pm -12am or there abouts
Tide:rising
Weather:dry, but a very slight breeze making it feel cold
Bait:none not a one
Rigs:several types of feather and tinsels
Results:16 coalies
Report:very slow at the start-only about 2 in 2 hours.then just as it got dark-they were jumping out of the water everywhere.pulled out another 14 in approx 1 hour, with a couple of breaks in between--due to the young chap there,he was just following me and casting over the top of me
all in all just a good nights fishing-apart from the wee lad there.
we all have to start somewhere, but he would not listen to me-at least if he had listened to me he may have actuall caught something except for my line   oh and the other annoying thing-lost several traces and weights  --due to some edgit leaving a boat in the fecking way---watch out windows next time they may not be so lucky
  best leason learnt about PORTAFERRY is to go as late as you can and at least then there is less chance of getting snagged up on the wee lads !!!
p.s. if the owner of the boat which is in the way is a member or just a viewer--please please move the fecking thing  -so people can fish in peace--without hitting it - by ACCIDENT of course :!:
does any one know what sort of pressure or impact it takes to break glass on boats :?: :?: ---NO NO I AM ONLY JOKING----when fishing there just avoid it PLEASE as i don't want the blame for breaking the glass..... 8)

i've heard from alot of people say that portaferry is only worth trying when it gets dark, i only fish early mornings so its putting me off trying here even though i like the thought of fishing here. mackers, where any of the coalies a good size?? and drew did u get out fishing today?? i went to orlock this morning coz there has been plenty of fish caught there this week but i gave up in half an hour, the wind nearly blew me off the rocks!!! didn't stop loads of people hitting the rocks though. i'm sure the dee pier was getting the same weather??
