People: me and a mate
Time: 9.30pm-1.30am
Bait: mackel, squid, mussel
Rigs: 3 fook flapper, pulley, conger, lures and feathers
Tide: high around 10pm
Results: Pollock, Doggies, European/silver Eel
arrived at garron point about 9.30 set up the conger gear and tried spinning jelly worms but i got nothing on both setups :(. mate was using a mackrel trace and picked up a small pollock he had a baited rod ot as well which picked up a dog black as your boot lol.
headed on round to Dalriadia pier in redbay about 11 or so.
On arrivial at the slip we were confronted with the sight of 10 dead doggies scattered over the slipway!!! :evil: :evil: :evil: see other thread here

eventually setup and cast out. was slow the first hour with my mate picking up a silver eel and a dog to mackrel.
we switched to squid and the doggies went mental lol. i had a good one that weighed in at 2.6Lbs.
ive never seen a doggie take like that before, the rods were nearly pulled from the tripod some of the hits were so bad. good sport though. all fish were returned alive and well.
