THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT YESTERDAY KEV
IT WAS ALWAYS GOIN TO BE A REAL SCRATCHING COMP BUT IM PLEASED THAT ALL THE PRIZES WERE ACTUALLY WON AND NOT PULLED FROM A HAT AND WELL DONE TO STEPHEN BRENNAN FOR HIS EFFORTS
IT WAS REALLY GOOD TO SEE THE LADS COMING FROM DUBLIN, LURGAN AND FROM OUTSIDE THE CARRICKFERGUS BOROUGH

i agree big phil. organised shore fishing competitions could only do us good. not only r we testing r skills against each other but we could get alot of interesting knowledge about areas we've never fished before. bring in random shore fishing competitions i say!!!

THE CLUB MEMBERS WHO WENT ON THE SCROUNGE FOR SPONSORSHIP AND PRIZES DESERVE MUCH CREDIT ALSO THE MEMBERS WHO HELPED THOSE WHO ARE UNFORTUNATELY DISABLED I HAVE TO PAY A SPECIAL TRIBUTE TO YOUNG STUART WHO AT 13 YEARS OLD HELPED THROUGHOUT THE COMPETITION LOOKING AFTER NO LESS THAN FOUR NOVICE ANGLERS, THE JUNIOR ALL IRELAND CHAMPION REALLY WAS A CREDIT TO WATCH, ALSO TO THE KIDS WHO WENT AROUND SELLING BALLOTS , IT WAS GREAT TO SEE THE MIXTURE OF COMPETITION ANGLERS LOOKIN FOR PENN LEAGUE POINTS AND THE TOTAL NOVICE ANGLER WHO JUST WANTED A BIT OF CRAIC, I AGREE WITH THE COMMENT RAB SAID AND THAT IF THERE WERE MORE OF THESE TYPE OF BOROUGH SEASIDE ORGANISED COMPETITIONS IT CAN ONLY PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE MORE ANGLERS WHETHER EXPERIENCED OR NOVICE, ALSO I THINK IF ENTRY FEES CAN BE KEPT DOWN IT WILL HELP TO ENCOURAGE THOSE MORE DISADVANTAGED, UNEMPLOYED OR ON STATE BENIFITS TO PURSUE THE BIGGEST PARTICIPANT SPORT IN THE WORLD PHIL CAN YOU RELAY MY BEST WISHES TO ALL THE IRISH TEAM MEMBERS COMPETING IN SCOTLAND AND GOOD LUCK IN ALL YOUR EFFORTS
