Report: Only notable session in 2 1/2 weeks fishing around Connemara/Clare. Casting into the (deep) inner harbour had a fish a chuck plus a couple of double shots. Dogs were of good average size, 2lb+, and took lug or mackerel. Best thornie about 5lb, other much smaller, both took stinking mackerel I bought 2 days earlier at the fishmonger's in Clifden. Other results - 2 dogs from little Killary, 1 dog from Erislannan quay, lots of small pollack at Carrigaholt pier, a dog and a flounder at Rinevilla Bay nr Carrigaholt.
