people: Me and a mate

tide: not sure really, think it was on the rise and fished a couple of hours down.

Time:4pm-10pm

Weather: fine except for the constant Northerly gale!

Bait: Mackrel, Sandeel, lures AND Earthworms!!!

Results: Mate got 1 crab does that count???

Decided we would head out fishing yesterday. Having not been up to donegal in about 3 years i persuaded my mate to split the petrol and we headed up to Fahan to have a look at it, but the wind was mental and was blowing clouds of dust about all over the place. May have spotted bogaloo's Landrover up at the marina? Also hadnt a clue where to fish this place so we headed on up to lennan pier. Used the mobile to get onto the site and followed the directions in the shore marks section Very handy lol :D

arrived and set up someone had left behind a couple of mackrel heads and 2 tubs of earthworms!! (looked like the expensive ones my dad gets for salmon lol) tried everything, even the worms! (heard flatties love them???) but got nothing other than a crab that was returned alive to steal baits another day. Another guy showed up with some feathers he blanked as well but said a guy had caught a good conger a night or 2 ago.

headed on round to Culdaff pier it looked good for spinning some lures and sandeel but not much was happening. Didnt fish with the bait because it stared to rain and was getting a bit late.

Will deffo be back up round this direction soon. Any tips where abouts to fish??

Cheers Neil
