Report:

Hell its a long walk from where we parked the car to the end of Rossbeigh esspeciall with all the gear, it had to be a 5m round trip, Colm definetley looked like this  by the time we got there. We fished into the edge of the deep chanell at the end but to be honest i think we could have done with a smaller tide, just could not hold the bottom at all plus the weed was out in force as well, i even tried walking uptide chuckin in and then trotting the bait downtide which seemed to be working nicely, but no takes.
If you are thinking of trying here at all i would reccomend 2 hours either of low water on a smallish tide (even on a small tide there is a good flow of water in that area) and you might be able to drive a bit closer down the back of Rossbeigh :D
Next time i'm takin the boat Col!

I thought I would try something new so i pulled out the alvey reel.
Don't knock it until you try it. You don't get quiet as far as with a multiplier but you get a better feel with a fish on and it is indistructible.
