Aye. Although I have a few places up here earmarked for a few trips after them this summer. I'm biding my time until the water warms a bit and then I'll give the bass and sea trout laldy. Or try to, anyway. If I got one of each, it'd make my year....

In fact, I'd say if anyone could manage a bass, a sea trout and a mullet from anywhere in Donegal by any type of rod and line fishing, they'd be doing well.

Tanglerat seems to think we can bag a sea trout - we're heading out on Friday on his patch - spinning and fly fishing for them. I'm looking at Ballyliffen and Culdaff for a bass. Anyone know where to catch mullet in Donegal apart from Killybegs? There used to be tons of them around Burtonport but with very little fish being landed and processed there over the last decade, they seem to have moved on elsewhere. Nobody really seems to target them up here, apart from markj, as far as I know.

Sandman there is mullet virtually everywhere in Donegal. Plenty around the harbour in Donegal town at high water, Bruckless pier, St. Johns Point (real brutes), Killybegs harbour, Teelin pier. Alot of the open sea marks have mullet in attendence but you don't see them very often and you'll need a good slick to draw them in. Be prepared to be harrassed by seagulls though  !

Seen them at Rathmullan and Bunagee piers as well Pat, more so in the summertime though.
