[b]People:me and kstaff

[b]Duration:11 pm to 3.30 am

[b]Tide:high around 1 am

[b]Weather:changeable

[b]Bait:lug, razor, mackerel, squid, sand eel

[b]Rigs:2 hook clip down,

[b]Results:about 6 - 7 coalies and 2 bass.

[b]Report:Weather wasn't great but we were determined to give it a go. When we got there the wind was about force 4 to 5 southerly with a nice but small surf. By the time we left it was northerly with the sea as flat as a lake. We started at the prom and on the fires chuck I was getting small bites.
Continued with large baits while kstaff went for small single lug baits.
He pulled 2 coalies from here.

After half an hour or so we moved about 500 yards east where kstaff got another coalie.

Another move down the beach and things went very quite for an hour or more from high water.

One last move down and on the first chuck I missed a stonking bass bite but with this the spirits were up. Bites came thick and fast for about an hour in which time we had a bass each and another couple of coalies.

Fishing could have been better but an enjoyable night after a lot of blanks.
