At the risk of getting too technical, you can see the presssure at
http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/show_plot.php? ... ptnd&uom=E
It gives a rolling 24-hour plot of air pressure. I'm looking at it at about 19:30 and looking at the same time yesterday compared to today, today has the pressure falling while same time yesterday it was rising.
Maybe something to watch out for in future. Just to see if there is a link between your catch rates and what the air pressure is doing - high/low, falling/rising, steady etc.
A lot of pike fishermen report that low pressure coming in can bring pike onto the feed, so maybe the bass do the same.
I've just read through this post before submitting it and realised I've GOT to get out more....
