Summary:
Back out on the water again for another go at catching my first Bass on a lure. Good bit of activity on the water with bait fish, birds diving etc so things looked positive. fishing about 30mins on a slowish retrieve, when I noticed there was a boil on the water about 10 meters in front of me were my lure was, I didn't pay it any attention, just assumed the braid had got caught around the hook and created a bit of a swirl. Next cast to the same area and as I retrieved over the same ground I got a good take, fish put up a great little scrap. He was only a tiddler but absolutely delighted to get off the mark. Quick photo and got him back lively to fight another day. Delighted with the result and energised now to try and catch a bigger one.
PS. got some great advice from lads on here after my last post on lures, tide, conditions - cheers lads, appreciate it.
