Fished a north wicklow beach on Saturday, rag as bait and two rods out.
Started off slow with 2 dogs and continued to be slow until last cast.... a bass about 2lb which was caught about 10 ft out.
Was observing a lot of sandeels being chased so fished in close and was rewarded!!
If only I had the spinning gear with me....
