Hi all,
Fishing killiney on the dropping tide yesterday evening, from 5pm - 8pm. Fresh lug as bait.
It was surprisingly pleasant for most of the evening with the wind and rain picking up towards the end.
The first couple of casts resulted in missing fish

, 3rd cast in and it was a decent size coalie, weighed in on the kitchen scales at 1.4 pounds, wasn't planning on taking him home but the hook went very deep.
A few more small goalies (15cm approx) and then woosh, rod bent over and i was onto something nice.... for about 10 seconds

Not quite sure but was a decent fish, the one that got away as they say.
Lost a couple of traces at distance and the rain started, packed up and home for dinner at 8pm, all in all, a nice evening and better than a blank.
