When: 12/09/2020
Where: Rogerstown Estuary
Duration: 04:30-08:30
High Water: 07:16
Equipment: 9ft abu garcia spinning rod with shimano 4000 reel.
Bait/Lures: Tacklehouse Feedshallow 128mm Bloodhead & Blue glitter lead head sandeel.
Conditions: Sunny but getting a bit colder now
Result: Blank

Giving Rogerstown another crack for bass on lures this morning, it was pitch black when I arrived but with a nice bit of moonlight, fished through the sunrise walking up and down from the mouth in towards the mussel beds and back but no joy today, I did see some movement in the water a few feet out a couple of times which was definitely some sort of fish splashing about! Beautiful morning none the less! :D

Fair play for the persistence I'm sure it will pay off, I'd say the fish moving around are mullet plenty of them around there.

Plenty of mullet moving along the estuary shore, its a wonder there's not the odd bass with them...The local beaches will be worth a chuck for a bass later this week.
