South east beach Wexford

Today was my 1st time out Fishing this year and I was looking forward to trying out my new spinning rod and reel.
Low water was at 11am-ish, I got to the beach at about 11:50am and fished all the way up to high water circa 5pm-ish, using various lures and plugs, but got sweet F.A! I continued to fish for another hour as the tide was on its way back out and got interrupted by a 42cm or so Bass (measured by my iPhone measure app which is more than likely not very accurate?). It was caught on a small white sidewinder eel. I got a couple of pics next to my size 12 boot and returned the fish.
