This beach is fishing very well at present, The Army had a small competition on it in March and the all caught 4 to 5 Flounder on average a lot of them measuring 33 to 35 cm.
on the 7 th april my buddies Kirl and Ralph fished it for 4 hours and caught 40 fish all were returned. Bait frozen Mackerel

What state of tide were you fishing and were you casting miles? I'd like to give it a go on my way home one evening, but I'm not one who can cast into next week!

Talking about long distance casting .................. anyone know of any lessons anywhere over here?

Hi.
Fish it at any stage, outgoing tide can be very good. Don;t worry about casting about 50 yds max.
