North Dublin, Hounds+ Bass

Venue: North Dublin
Bait: ragworm
Tide: high around 10:30pm
Results: 2 Smooth Hound + 1 bass

I was out on Sunday and had a bit of a frustrating session, having to move spots, losing gear and no bites so having bait leftover I went back out on Monday night.
There was a bit surf running and some weed as well. Nothing happened until around the high water mark then first up was a hound, then another of around a couple of pounds and finally a bass to finish things off. Nothing huge but still happy to catch them.
My pal fishing with me also took a couple of hounds and he lost the best fish of the night in the surf, that one put a real bend in his rod, he was not happy would have being interesting to see that one. Anyways, all in all we went home happy enough.

More accident than design on my part , nice to catch a few and hopefully I’ll be able to get down to Wexford to have a crack at a few of the bigger ones later in the summer
