Result 2 flounder

Fished this place again this time with lug dug in the area at low tide. This took about 2hrs to dig about 10 as this area wouldn't be noted for gathering bait
Bait went untouched till 11 30 when I took in 1 flounder. Took another on the next cast and that was it.
Both were similar size. The second slightly bigger

Hi kenf41 at least you know they are there now pick the right tide for them I always find a neap tide works best for flats but I go for plaice not flounder it should make to much of a difference

Hi mickser. Yeah. Last night's was a fairly big tide and the only bites came just before and just after full. Alas no bass

Nice catch! I dug bait for the first time myself this week, got a load of huge blow lug but it is back breaking work. Planning to hit Rogerstown with them tomorrow night!
