A run on Galway Bay?

It always amazes me how youre thoughts on a venue can change over the years - barren wasteland to finally figured it out - back to barren wasteland and then somewhere in between

I always thought i was an expert at the occasional referenced in the CFB/IFI signs - usually in reference to ray off west coast beaches - i managed to make everything occasional bar flounder, whiting and dogs

anyways i fished this west coast beach for years mainly blanking and gave up on it after 5/6 - if found no pattern at all - then a wise man told me on the drop of neaps into darkness and low and behold i got to see some silver

after living on the south east coast and many lads regularly fishing, you would hear of a run of bass on certain beaches. I usually fell into the 3 weeks too late category but still there was something semi reliable

what is this all about - well anywyas many years later - i think ive found a run and am confident enough to head out with others under this premise - now its not 5 each - but ones and twos - where there were blanks after blanks

Maybe the water temp has just brought them north and maybe they were there all along but it just goes to show, you are always learning...

James with a good 6lb last weekend
