Estuary Raymond's

Postby ShaneH » Sun Sep 03, 2017 12:53 pm

John and myself headed over to fish two marks on the estuary last night to try out my new century eliminators.
We arrived at the first mark too late in the tide so we could only manage an hour of fishing before we would be cut off by the tide which was ok as I pulled out 4 ray in 20 minutes and lost another to the ledge. The second mark was slow to start with then John hit into the first ray then 3 cast later I had a good run and when I lifted into the fish it took of like a train a few minutes later out came a nice ray just into double figures. 5 minutes later I managed another good ray of 8lb.6oz.
The bait we used was squid mackeral and crab rigs were up and overs and pulleys.
