Went for a beach session 1/4/17
Slow enough day but unreal sunshine. Strong wind cutting down the mountain side proved difficult for noticing bites. First cast produced a 30cm flounder.
Two strong rattles registered but were missed , more than likely sea trout. Went dead slack at low water. Time was catching up with me as it was near time for the night shift at work. Last cast produced a double 34cm flounder and a 16cm brill. Was slow fishing but was delighted with the outcome of a brill, first one in about 3 years. - Joe
