Quick Donegal report

Postby MC » Sat Mar 04, 2017 7:09 pm

No longer a fiish minnow virgin, went fishing tonight, nothing on spinning for first hour so switched to bait and landed a few coalies up to 36cm on black lug. Just feeding crabs with sandeel but got a hookup on the retrieve with a 38cm coalie. So bait gear away and out with the minnows, several coalies to 30cm and smaller on bio minnow, one on savage gear sandeel but the best came on the white fiish minnow a cracking 40cm coalie, bent the wee ugly stick double. Ended up black lug= 4 fish
Sandeel=1 fish
Savage gear sandeel =1 fish
Fiish minnows= 14 fish

Nice wee session even though it was wet and windy, broke the curse of the fiish minnows

Hey! Don't put yourself down, plenty of guys around who would be happy to do that for you. I'll start by telling you to stop feeding the crabs, it only encourages them.
