Cheers mickser. Yip, a long wait but I was determined. I knew they were there and have seen them caught, I just really wanted one! That, and it's just a stunning beach to fish anyways :)

A small fish but a lovely, hard earned, bar of silver! Thanks. Think that the second treble hook on my lure may well have done the damage in those dorsal fins though :?

well done, perseverance is its own reward. It's a bit like this in Mayo - 2 bass in about 20 years!

Yes mate been saving myself , happy pills and having too chill out so not much fishing, I'm heading out on Monday (27th March) up the coast with lots of free fish guts etc from a nice fishmonger so hoping for some good fishing. :D :D :D . Tight lines for 2017 and might bump into you on the beach/rocks sometime
