Headed out on saturday morning despite the forecast being poor, reched my mark about an hour after low water and bar being dull and overcast conditions were ideal and i had high hopes. Baited up the 2 rods with crab and launched them out. within minutes of casting my optimism turned into dismay as the rods started tapping slightly as eels tore my baits apart
The plagued me for 2-3 hours... it stated to pour so i packed up and headed home with the dreaded blank.
On sunday i headed out again for a deeper mark I set up both rods with pulleys and baited up with crab and mack within in minutes I had a strong bite and pulled in a reasonable sized dog. for the next 2 hours i was kept busy with small codling 1-2lb
