Bait: peeler, baby squid, blacks, herring.
Rigs: clipped, 2up1d.
I thought I'd get the ball rolling after the blow and post a report. Headed out in the hope of a very late bass on a regular haunt. I've had fish to ten pound off it in late October and some 45cm codling so as far as east coast marks go its fairly decent. Brought the scratching rig just in case.
The light westerly blowing should have been enough to help me know better but being in doors the last few weeks I decided to go anyway..
Happy I did once I started fishing, steady stream of small codling and possibly the smallest bass I've ever seen. Strange how satisfying it was to see a bass this size, happy to know there is still a few fish spawning in my area. Cracking evening for it and better than watching lads on YouTube in Norway catching doubles off the shore.....
