Ventry Area Help reqd

#1 Post by iona »

Guys

I have persuaded the boss to have a week at the end of October and we have booked a holiday cottage in Ventry.
now I fished there for 3hrs a few years ago and had a terrific session with bass 2-4lbs and flounders but outside of that the fishing was limited to Inch for a couple of hrs that week.

looking for some help and tips for a few sessions, willing to travel from this area if there is somewhere we should go.
also looking to dig a few lug as I will bring some frozen crab, razor etc.

much appreciated.
why does yer last cast always take an hour?

Beyond Inch you could dig lug here https://www.google.com/maps/@52.1471672 ... a=!3m1!1e3
Or on the way on to Fermoyle beach by the bridge, https://www.google.com/maps/@52.23676,- ... a=!3m1!1e3
Fermoyle last 2 hours of the drop and the first hour of the flood

Ventry, turn down by Paidi O’Se’s pub for dogs and a chance of some huss and thornback ray

Under the Lighthouse at the mouth of Dingle harbour for a chance of a thornback, wrasse and pollack on the float.
