Report:
reached the mark just before low tide and conditions were perfect!! warm, sun was shining at times with a light northly breeze on my back. baited up flapper and pulley rigs every 2nd cast and for the first 2 hours got the odd bite but nothing took the hook.
As the sun started to fall in the sky i noticed my line went slack, i had an idea what was on the line so took up the slack gave it a few seconds and it went slack again so i struck and the fish was on!! i reeled frantically but to my dismay the lead got snagged so i gave off plenty of line in hope the fish would dislodge the weight! Luckily it became unstuck and i gladly pulled in my 1st sea bass of 2015
I quickly replenished the bait and got it back out there and got a large dog and small flounder!!
I was tempted to stay longer to see if i could bag a 2nd bass but didnt fancy sleeping outside tonight
Overall fantastic evening fishing
