People: me myself and I
Duration: 1900 - 2300
Tide: dropping
Weather: brisk NW, intermittent showers
Bait: rag and mack
Rigs: 2 hook scratcher, pulley (distance) and 2 hook clip down
Results: 3 whiting
Report:
I had a 1/2lb of rag left from the weekend and some mack in the freezer, decided to head for the breakwater at Glenarm, when I got there the wind was howling and the rain was chucking down - those rocks are dangerous at the best of times - I though better of it and headed to Carnlough.
I pitched up in front of the OLD church and fished one rod at distance and the other close in.
All in all it was poor with only 3 small whiting and one crab taken. This is the first time I have fished this beach when the tide was dropping - wasn't too impressed
Anyone else fished this mark on a dropping tide?
Until next time......
