Hi lads, planed a trip for Saturday afternoon with my mate to fish west cork. We arrived at the mark at low tide & the plan was to fish it for a few hrs & move to a high water mark later. There was a lovely surf rolling in & the water was very coloured just hoping it was weed free. We were using frozen razor fish on pennell pulley rigs targeting bass. First cast a p/b flounder taught off the mark straight away & next cast a fine plum codling which was very unusual for this shallow beach & fishing in day light. Fourth cast a bass of about 3.5lb which was released after a photo. Next 3 hrs we caught about 12 codling between us on a very shallow beach in daylight & all on razor.we fish on until the tide forced us off the shore.
