Fintragh Strand, Donegal

Hi all,

Heading over this way on Monday. I haven't fished any of the strands in this area so any info. re. best tides, baits, pegs etc would be much appreciated. PMs welcome.

If it's the one next to killybegs use mac and fish last 3 hours of the rise, good for flounder, hooked something big last time I fished it but got snapped off on the rock , found next to the big rock at the car park good

Great spot , try over far end by the river some nice founders day time and at night you couldn't fish close enough 2-3" of water could do it and a big cast would get ya all the dogs ya ever want!!!!

I like this mark, good flounder in winter time, summer time would be good for ray fishing. I am going fishing on Sunday, however little bit further up there is another mark for the flounder and turbot, last time I was there fishing was quite good some nice turbot turned up. Anyway have a good session as it is a good spot
