Report:went to a local beach on Sunday just to get rid of the hangover more than anythinggot down to the beach at 4.30 there was a lovely surf in it with a northwest wind blowing there was no bites till dark as soon as dark had our first fish a coalie it did not stop till about hw.biggest cod of the night was about 3 pounds biggest bass was about 5 pound.coalies and dogs were all the usual size good night a lot better than we expected it to be as first time we have fished it this year
