People:Me
Duration: 5hrs, 4hrs & 2hrs durations.
Tide[/b ): different stages.
[b]Weather:blusterly / breezy and mostly dry south west winds
Bait: lug tipped of with squid
Rigs: two hook flapper and pulley.
Results: three bass and two flatties.
With the moth being from that neck of the woods it's always a great excuse to bring the fishing tackle in the car for a session or two, as happened last weekend.
First session started at 4.30am an hour before high tide, as dawn i noticed that distinctive knock on my rod and reeled in the first bass on the pulley rod, no more bites/fish for three hours until i hooked the flounder. There were five other anglers fishing further down the beach at different times while i was there however i did not see them catch any fish.
Second session was on the same beach the following day from 3pm to 7pm with high tide at 17:30pm, again i was lucky enough to hook another bass and a flounder both on the pulley rod.
Third day and third session was on a different beach from 2pm to 5pm with high tide due at 6.15pm, first cast caught my third bass on the pulley rod, after that it was very small or schoolie bass a cast on both rods, gave up after another two hours and hit the road.
i was lucky with the weather in that is was relatively mild, the wind was never too bad, twas always cloudy and there was a lovely surf rolling with no weed about at all on both beaches.
I took a couple of pics of the bass with my camera phone however i cannot upload them on here apparently there are too many pixels on the pics to upload on here, any suggestions as to how to upload them?

Well done on some very successful trips there mate. Blanking in the South west of Kerry wouldn't even bother me as its just beautiful down there. My moth is from Portugal so i'm hoping to do a little fishing there myself in 2 weeks time. Not sure what to expect, but if all else fails i'll trade her in for a Kerry Model
