Results: Plenty of pollack 1-3lb and lots and lots of mackeral!




Report: Bit of a late report lads but better late than never. Managed to get a break in the weather so off I went exploring some rock marks around West Donegal. Plenty of pollack in the 1-3lb bracket nothing huge which is what I was looking for :D Tried several locations all producing the same stamp of fish. I used the ever reliable Savage Gear Sandeels. Absolutely love these lures, they just never stop catching!!! Also tried some of those relatively cheap Connemara Krill lures which work a treat at range. They're nothing special but they cast like bullet and they catch so what more do you want :D
I tried some soft plastics rigged up texas style for the wrasse but strangely enough not a sniff...
