Report: dug around 20 sand eel on arrival , fished the mouth of the estuary with lures anthony had the first bass within 30 mins
4,2lb no more for the next hour so we moved to a special spot on the rocks which always produces on the turn of tide. got down to the water
and it looked perfect [but one never knows] set up float rigs with live sand eel and cast out nothing for over an hour so kept refreshing
the sand eels and cast in again closer this time , the light was starting to fade and tide had turned then my float disappeared. struck
and the line shot across the water after 5 mins of running all over the place to keep up with the fish i managed to get it up on a ledge
it weighed in at 6.2lb then settled down again ,within ten mins anthonys float disappeared and he had one at 4.6 no more fish after that
as we ran out of sand eel so a good session had for october. all fish got returned safely to pull someones string another day hopefully
