Went to dunlaughaire to do a bit of lrf and caught a load of mini species but I just wanted to know what type of wrasse is this . Thank in advance for any replies lads

Thanks for that lads. I knew it wasn't a ballan wrasse so I just need to know .i googled Goldsinny wrasse and the 2 black spots on the dorsal and tail identify it as a goldsinny. Thanks again lads ... How many other species of wrasse is there in our waters. Cookoo and ballan aswell, but is there any other ones I need to know about ......thanks

Corkwing also plentiful enough where you are fishing so look up ID on Donal's suggestion above.
