hook head

this is more of a warning than a report . Went to hook head last wednesday evening to do a bit of mackerel fishing. Caught no fish over two hours ..... a few people caught a very odd single mackerel. Anyway , i packed up and went back to car to find this.....

That's really unfortunate, can't even go fishing for a few hours without worrying about your motor.

that's terrible Lad123. Mind telling us where exactly you parked was it down by the lighthouse or further up the road??
Fish there a good bit and would be a bit hesitant now to go back after your misfortune.

They stole a hurling hemet. I parked on the road as you approach the lighthouse but i wasnt to far away from the lighthouse , there was to cars in front of me and a good few caravans opposite where i parked. They did it in daylight aswell between 6 and 8 oclock

no didnt have alarm donal ..... rotten bas****s to do it only for a hurling helmet ..... they smashed the front lights aswell for spite. I reported to garda station and in fairness to them they told the insurance company the story so they are covering the damage

Lousy bastards
, they might be needing that hurling helmet in the future, especially if they run into the wrong type of people (concerned citizens).

That's terrible luck lad, I never mind walking any distance when fishing but in the back of my mind this is the kind of scumbag behaviour that I'm always worried about, f-ing dickheads. I hope the hurling helmet offers them no protection when they go to use it.
