People:Me, Doug n Dave

Duration:12-5pm

Tide:On the flood - high tide 5pm

Weather:Brilliant - Loads of sunshine flat calm waters

Bait:sandeel, mack, sprats, pilchard, squid

Rigs:pulleys, 3 hook flappers

Results:3 Thornbacks, 12 whiteing, 2 crabs - all returned

Report:After finally finding the mark we picked out on the map (we took a 40 mile detour as we missed the turning we wanted - although the scenery was stunning) we set up and hit the first ray within 10 minutes, this one fell to Dave and within a few minutes Doug also hit into the ray. The fish were being hit at a steady rate for about an hour and a half then it went quiet for a while before it picked up again as the sun was setting. All in all a good day out, although a few more fish would have been nice.
