Such a shame, some great marks to fish in Dublin and north of Dublin for all species, particularly bass, but I wont risk my car at them.
Sorry to hear that.

Iv fished there for years and never had an issue with the car. but this year there seems to be allot more fishing there so its attracting allot more scum. Iv stayed away from it for the last while because its just to busy now.

Lousy bastards with no sense, did you report it to the Guards?

Not the first or last time cars have been damaged or broken into there. Seems commonplace across the whole country now unfortunately and its certainly not isolated to Dublin. I'm reluctant these days to fish anywhere where my car isn't in view or at least parked in a well populated place. It's amazing how many Garda warning signs have cropped up on marks I fish around Dublin (and Kerry) over the last two years.

It takes the enjoyment out of fishing when you spend your time wondering is anything going to happen to the car when you leave it. Certainly doesn't help relax. Fished Poolbeg the other evening and it was mobbed with people swimming at the half moon. When i parked up the car there was a fella hanging around the start of the pier appeared to be eyeing the parade of cars pulling in. Thankfully it was very busy with people walking would have been too busy to try anything.
