but thought I would share a great nights fishing I had with the lads, We set up at around half 8 perfect weather for sun bathing so the lads set up the cricket gear and played cricket on the beach for an hour or so. I thought I would teach the lads about tying neat baits to help with their bait presentation and catch results and things started off slow for an hour or so. First fish was a nice fat dab around 27 cms, quickly unhooked and returned to swim another day. Fish came on steadily with a fish nearly every cast with a nice mix of species, Dabs, Gurnard, smoothie pups and if anyone could confirm a Turbot I think, my son hollowed down the beach to me that he had caught a flounder with a lumpy back and was round and fat so of I trotted for a pic. Darkness fell and the hound pups and doggies came out for a walk so all in all a nice nights fishing with a few new species for us on the east coast
